Terms of Service

1. The service

bubbl.cx provides isolated virtual machines ("bubbles") that run behind a VPN kill switch. The service is provided as-is with no warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, availability, or data persistence.

2. Accounts

Accounts are identified by a randomly generated 16-digit number. There is no email, phone number, or personal information associated with your account. If you lose your account number or password, your account cannot be recovered. We have no way to verify account ownership.

3. Payments

We accept cryptocurrency payments (Monero and Bitcoin). All payments are final. Cryptocurrency transactions are non-reversible. We do not offer refunds.

4. Acceptable use

You may use the service for any lawful purpose. The following activities are explicitly prohibited and will result in immediate termination:

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — we report all CSAM to NCMEC as required by law
• Distribution of malware, ransomware, or exploit kits
• Active attacks against third-party infrastructure (DDoS, port scanning, brute force)
• Spam or bulk unsolicited email
• Phishing or fraud campaigns
• Hosting public-facing services for illegal purposes
• Violation of US sanctions (OFAC)
• Material support for terrorism
• Sex trafficking

We reserve the right to terminate any account for any reason at our discretion.

5. Data destruction

When you "pop" a bubble, the following happens: the VM is forcefully stopped, the WireGuard peer is removed, the VM and all its disks are permanently deleted, and the database record is removed. This process is irreversible. We do not maintain backups, snapshots, or deleted records of any kind.

6. Privacy

We collect the minimum data necessary to operate the service. We do not collect IP addresses, connection logs, browsing history, email addresses, or real names. System logging on the hypervisor is disabled. See our Privacy Policy for details.

7. Abuse reports

We maintain an abuse contact at abuse@bubbl.cx. We review all abuse reports and take action when appropriate. For CSAM reports, we suspend the instance immediately and file a report with NCMEC as required by US federal law.

8. Limitation of liability

The service is provided as-is. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to data loss, downtime, service interruptions, or security breaches. You use this service at your own risk.

9. Changes

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
