How this works

This canary is updated on the 1st of every month. If this page is not updated for more than 31 days, or if any of the above statements are removed, assume that the corresponding condition is no longer true.

We cannot legally be compelled to lie about the existence of this page. However, we can be compelled to not update it. The absence of an update is the signal.

What is a warrant canary?

A warrant canary is a method of passively informing users about government interference. As long as the canary is alive — updated regularly with all statements intact — no interference has occurred. If the canary dies — stops being updated or statements disappear — users should assume the worst and act accordingly.
